The Trump years of peacetime and prosperity are now coming to an end. The Biden years of economic malaise, lockdowns that never end, and endless wars overseas are now upon us.

After fours years of no new wars and peace breaking out all over the Middle East, the United States is now risking a war with Syria and Iran by launching an airstrike against Iranian-backed militias in Syria.

On Thursday night, President Joe Biden ordered an airstrike on facilities that are used by Iranian-supported militia groups in eastern Syria in retaliation to three separate rocket attacks against US forces in Iraq, according to a spokesperson for the Pentagon.

Several buildings were destroyed by the airstrikes at a border control point that were being used by the militia groups that are tied to the attacks against US forces in Iraq.  Pentagon spokesperson John Kirby said in a statement that the attacks took place in Kataib Hezbollah and Kataib Sayyid al-Shuhada.

“These strikes were authorized in response to recent attacks against American and Coalition personnel in Iraq, and to ongoing threats to those personnel,” Kirby said.

Part of the mission for the airstrikes was to do major damage to the militia group’s capabilities of conducting attacks, according to a defense official who told Politico.

The operation was carried out only by US.  And just to satisfy the globalists, Kirby added that the US carried out the strikes “together with diplomatic measures, including consultation with Coalition partners.”

“The operation sends an unambiguous message: President Biden will act to protect American and Coalition personnel,” Kirby said. “At the same time, we have acted in a deliberate manner that aims to de-escalate the overall situation in both eastern Syria and Iraq.”

Reuters first reported the news:

“The United States on Thursday carried out an airstrike in Syria against a structure belonging to what it said were Iran-backed militia, two officials told Reuters.

The strike comes after a series of recent rocket attacks against U.S. targets in Iraq.

The officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said the strike was approved by President Joe Biden.”

ABC News corroborated the story:

The airstrike targeted structures in the eastern Syrian town of Al Bukamal that belong to Kataib Hezbollah and other Iranian-backed militias that have launched rocket attacks in the past against American facilities in Iraq, said the U.S. official.

The US strike comes more than a week after a dozen rockets were fired at coalition forces outside Irbil International Airport that are believed to be tied to an Iranian-supported militia group.  A non-American contractor was killed and nine others were wounded, including five Americans.

On Saturday, at least four launched rockets hit Balad Air Base where American contractors who provide support to Iraq’s fleet of U.S.-made F-16 fighter jets were staying.  Luckily only one person was wounded.

Then on Monday, two rockets hit inside a Green Zone near the US Embassy in Baghdad.  Thankfully there were no casualties reported.

The Thief-in-Chief had faced criticism for not immediately placing blame for the attacks on the terror regime, Iran, which has a history of carrying out similar attacks against US troops in Iraq.  The last time they did that under the Trump administration, Iranian General Qassem Soleimani met his 72 virgins in paradise when US forces killed him.  Hopefully, the virgins are all men.

Joe Biden at the time criticized Trump’s decision to strike back under pretty much the same circumstances here calling it “dangerously incompetent.” He accused President TGrump of a “haphazard decision process” and a “reckless disregard of the consequences that would surely follow.”  I wonder if anyone will say the same thing about Biden.

The strike took place in Syria, or little Iran, instead of Iraq, more than likely to avoid causing problems for the Iraqi government.  Mick Mulroy, former Pentagon official who oversaw Middle East issues, pointed out that Iraq is still a partner in the counterterrorism fight against ISIS.

To avoid an escalation, the strikes were scaled and calculated enough to send the message that “Iran’s use of militias as proxies will not allow them to avoid responsibility,” Mulroy added.

The strike came as the Biden administration is working to get back into negotiations with the terror regime after President Trump pulled us out of the Iran nuclear deal, which neither side ever signed.  Did you know that the deal was never binding because neither side ever signed it.  And President Obama pulled a fast one by not taking the nuclear deal through the US Senate as he should have since it is a treaty.  Obama said it wasn’t and the entire Democratic Party fell in line with that lie.  Any deal of the magnitude of the Iran nuclear deal, which gives the terror state the authorization to have nuclear weapons in 15 years is a treaty even if the most corrupt administration in US history said it wasn’t.
