Breaking: Roger Stone Indicted … Here Is What You Are Not Being Told

Opinion  – There appears to be no length to which special counsel Robert Mueller and his band of anti-Trump hitmen are willing to go to protect the legacy of Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and the government institutions they corrupted in their pursuit of power.

And, there appears to be no limits to CNN’s efforts to advance the phony narrative that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia.

CNN doesn’t even mention Russia in the article except to cite the words of Stone’s attorney Grant Smith:

“They found no Russian collusion or they would have charged him with it.”

And President Trump’s attorney Jay Sekulow:

“The indictment today does not allege Russian collusion by Roger Stone or anyone else. Rather, the indictment focuses on alleged false statements Mr. Stone made to Congress.”

(CNN) Roger Stone has been indicted by a grand jury on charges brought by special counsel Robert Mueller, who alleges that the longtime Donald Trump associate sought stolen emails from WikiLeaks that could damage Trump’s opponents while in coordination with senior Trump campaign officials.

The indictment, as would be expected by a prosecutor on a two-year fishing expedition, does not cite even a single name of anyone on the Trump campaign, but instead smears multiple unnamed people.

“After the July 22, 2016, release of stolen (Democratic National Committee) emails by Organization 1, a senior Trump Campaign official was directed to contact STONE about any additional releases and what other damaging information Organization 1 had regarding the Clinton Campaign. STONE thereafter told the Trump Campaign about potential future releases of damaging material by Organization 1,” prosecutors wrote.

The indictment also says: “During the summer of 2016, STONE spoke to senior Trump Campaign officials about Organization 1 and information it might have had that would be damaging to the Clinton Campaign. STONE was contacted by senior Trump Campaign officials to inquire about future releases by Organization 1.”

So what?  Opposition research is not a crime.  Weaponizing the CIA, DOJ, FBI, and the State Department with that opposition research in order to fraudulently obtain a surveillance warrant to spy on your opponent’s campaign is illegal.

As far as hacking is concerned, there is zero evidence, at this point, that the Trump campaign played any role in penetrating either the Clinton or the DNC servers.

The same can’t be said of the Clinton campaign.  According to testimony gleaned from then-top FBI attorney James Baker, recounting the “research” from Michael Sussman a lawyer from the legal team at Perkins Coie who was working for the Clinton campaign, we might surmise it was the Team Clinton that was hacking Trump’s computer’s.

From Jeff Carlson at the Epoch Times:

The information that Sussmann provided to Baker on Alfa Bank’s alleged communications with a Trump Tower server was later detailed in a since-debunked article by Slate, “Was a Trump Server Communicating With Russia?” The article, which was published on Oct. 31, 2016, concerned allegations regarding a server in the Trump Tower that had allegedly been communicating with a server at Alfa Bank in Russia. Both the FBI and The New York Times found the allegations to be unfounded. Nevertheless, the article was used to promote the Trump–Russia collusion narrative.

This was part of a bigger effort by Clinton operatives to seed the media with this narrative while mainlining the same information into the DOJ (Bruce Ohr), FBI (James Baker), and the State Department (Jonathan Winer).

If all of the allegations swirling around Trump and his campaign are true, then two nagging questions remain.

Why hasn’t Mueller subpoenaed Julian Assange?  Who better than Assange to tell the world how Wikileaks came into possession of the emails?  Wouldn’t he sing like a bird in exchange for his freedom? – something Mueller can guarantee.

And, why didn’t Mueller, who ordered the FBI to conduct no knock raids on the homes and offices of cooperating witnesses who had been involved in the Trump campaign, similarly demand answers from the FBI as to why the Bureau simply accepted the word of Clinton acolytes about who hacked their computers and what evidence the FBI could see?

Roger Stone may be a smarmy political figure but he’s far less smarmy than those CIA, DOJ, FBI, and State Department figures who knowingly violated their oaths to the American people and used the powers they were entrusted with to destroy a duly elected president.

Roger Stone will be a mere footnote in history.  The Obama-Clinton criminalization of the intelligence community will forever stand as a warning about free people’s inability to trust big government.
