The indictment of Donald Trump over a few irrelevant documents appears to be nothing more than an attempt to target and silence his supporters – something we have seen far too often from the Biden Administration’s so-called “justice system”.
It is important to note that this comes on the same day that damning evidence was released by the House GOP linking former Vice President Joe Biden to receiving $5 million from Burisma in a pay-for-play scheme. Yet Biden has not been indicted for any wrongdoing.
The clear double standard here should be of grave concern to all Americans who value fairness and justice. Not only did Joe Biden make paperwork errors similar to those alleged against Donald Trump, but he also received preferential treatment in comparison despite these allegations being even more serious.
This shows that there is an agenda at play here – an agenda that seeks to criminalize conservatives while allowing Democrats to act with impunity.
It has become increasingly obvious over time that politics are dictating justice instead of the other way around. It feels as if Lady Justice herself has been turned upside down and replaced with mob justice where one’s political affiliation determines their punishment rather than their actions or words themselves.
This kind of weaponization of federal law enforcement represents a direct threat to our democracy and must be dealt with swiftly before it becomes entrenched further within our society.
Governor Ron DeSantis spoke out about this double standard: “Why so zealous in pursuing Trump yet so passive about Hillary or Hunter? The DeSantis administration will bring accountability to the DOJ, excise political bias and end weaponization once and for all.”
The weaponization of federal law enforcement represents a mortal threat to a free society.
We have for years witnessed an uneven application of the law depending upon political affiliation.
Why so zealous in pursuing Trump yet so passive about Hillary or Hunter?

The AP reported the news of the indictment like this:
Donald Trump said Thursday that he was indicted for mishandling classified documents at his Florida estate, a remarkable development that makes him the first former president in U.S. history to face criminal charges by the federal government that he once oversaw.
The indictment carries unmistakably grave legal consequences, including the possibility of prison if he’s convicted.
But it also has enormous political implications, potentially upending a Republican presidential primary that Trump had been dominating and testing anew the willingness of GOP voters and party leaders to stick with a now twice-indicted candidate who could face still more charges. And it sets the stage for a sensational trial centered on claims that a man once entrusted to safeguard the nation’s most closely guarded secrets willfully, and illegally, hoarded sensitive national security information.
The Justice Department did not immediately confirm the indictment publicly. But two people familiar with the situation who were not authorized to discuss it publicly said the indictment included seven criminal counts. One of those people said Trump’s lawyers were contacted by prosecutors shortly before he announced on his Truth Social platform that he had been indicted.
Ultimately, this indictment will likely serve as another fundraising tool for former President Trump’s base while simultaneously making Democrats look even more corrupt – two birds with one stone.
Here’s Trump’s reply:
Here is how the leftists are spinning the news to the sheep:
Following the indictment of former President Donald Trump on federal charges, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington President Noah Bookbinder, a former federal prosecutor, released the following statement:
“Donald Trump compromised the security of the United States and put his own interests ahead of keeping Americans safe. He has not been charged with a technical violation. This is not a minor disagreement about obscure rules.
He has reportedly been charged with multiple serious federal crimes including obstruction of justice and willful retention of National Defense Information. By bringing these charges against a former president, Special Counsel Jack Smith showed that no one is above the law. It is good for the country that Trump has finally been charged in federal court.”
