On Monday, the House Oversight Committee released new footage showing Nancy Pelosi taking responsibility for the protests and rioting at the US Capitol on January 6, 2021.

Both former Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Washington DC Mayor Muriel Bowser were alerted about the security situation before January 6th, but they rejected the deployment of National Guard troops at the US Capitol on that day for political reasons.
FBI Director Chris Wray also chose not to inform the Trump administration and cabinet secretaries about the potential for violence similar to the mass protests that occurred at the Capitol on January 6th.
Capitol Police Chief Steve Sund testified that he sought permission from House and Senate security officials to request standby assistance from the D.C. National Guard, but they both declined his request.
Pelosi’s explanation for refusing National Guard presence at the US Capitol due to “politics” raises questions about her prior knowledge of the situation.
In 2022, John Solomon of Just The News published a report uncovering that Capitol Police had been warned about potential violence at the January 6th protests two weeks prior to the planned rallies.
Despite this warning, Pelosi, Mayor Bowser, and other officials declined to call in the National Guard, raising suspicions of their intentions.
Solomon revealed that the Department of Homeland Security and District of Columbia were informed about online threats two weeks before the protests.
Subsequently, Nancy Pelosi refused to release her communications related to January 6, and Democrats destroyed evidence from their interviews with officials regarding the riots.
According to PJ Media, it was suggested that Nancy Pelosi played a more significant role in the U.S. Capitol breach on January 6 than President Trump.
Additionally, DC National Guard whistleblowers testified in April that Mark Milley and the Pentagon delayed deploying troops until after 5 PM.
The narrative presented suggests that Pelosi obstructed National Guard protection for the Capitol on January 6, while Milley delayed deployment.
It is implied that there may be further revelations regarding their actions on that day which left the Capitol vulnerable.
